FAQ
1.
Who can apply? All
infocomm companies with at least 30% shareholding belonging
to Singaporeans, Permanent Residents and Entrepass
holders are welcomed to apply to become a member of
"Infocomm Singapore".
2.
How do I apply?
All
interested companies can download and
complete the application form and submit their
application
to infocomm_singapore@sitf.org.sg.
A one-time administrative charge of $20 for SiTF
member and $50 for non SiTF member is payable to
SiTF upon submission of the membership application.
3.
Who will approve or disapprove my application?
A
5-person Membership Approval Committee with representatives
from the industry, IDA and IE Singapore will oversee
all applications. The Membership Approval Committee
has overriding authority to approve or reject any
application deemed deserving or undeserving for
whatever reason.
4.
How long is the application process?
Successful
applicants will be notified by SiTF within 2 weeks
of their submission, and will receive a copy of
the Infocomm Singapore brand application guidelines.
5.
Where can I use the logo once my application
is approved?
All
members of Infocomm Singapore are to adhere to
the application of the Infocomm Singapore bromide
as stipulated by the Infocomm Singapore brand application
guidelines..
6.
I have no foreign business yet. Can I still apply?
Note
that the lack of at least 1 successful overseas
implementation/client does not automatically disqualify
a company from gaining membership. The membership
approval committee will evaluate companies who
do not have the necessary overseas track record
on a case-by case basis.
7.
What if my application is rejected?
Unsuccessful
applicants can appeal for their application to
be reviewed by the Membership Approval Committee,
and will be notified of the outcome within 2 weeks
of submission of their appeal.
8.
What do I do if my appeal fails?
In
the event of an unsuccessful application or appeal,
applicants will be required to wait for 6 months
before reapplying with SiTF".
9.
Terms of Use of Infocomm Singapore Logo
The
Infocomm Singapore logo may only be used in conjunction
with the qualifying company's corporate logo, for
e.g., in instances such as:
- Print
collaterals
- Presentation
slides
- Corporate
websites
- Email
