SiTF
eLearning Chapter
The
eLearning Chapter was launched in
May 2001, with the vision of promoting
eLearning in Singapore as well as
to assist in the development of Singapore
into an eLearning hub and Asia Pacific
market leader.
Objectives
The
eLearning Chapter was formed with
a clear mandate to promote the interests
of the Singapore eLearning industry.
In line with that overriding mission,
the Chapter is committed to the following
core objectives.
- Act
as the eLearning industry voice and
champion
- Represent
the industry in discussions with
the public sector,
media, user
groups and other industry organisations,
locally and internationally
- Facilitate
networking and alliance formation,
locally, as well as internationally
- Provide
information on industry trends
and forecasts
- Develop
benchmarking and upgrade the competence
and standards
compliance of industry players
- Create
branding by developing a distinct
identity for the
Singapore eLearning
industry

Membership
is open to any individual, firm,
partnership or corporation that is
directly or indirectly involved in
the eLearning industry.
All
applicants must be SiTF members. Non-SiTF
members can apply for SiTF membership
together with Chapter membership and
admission to the eLearning chapter is
contingent on the approval of SiTF
membership.
